These wood tiles by Bison are perfect for the person who is interested in DIY-ing their outdoor space while retaining a polished look. Although these products are natural wood, they come in pre-cut and conjoined wood slabs in the shape of tiles, allowing you to balance a natural and refined aesthetic.
These tiles are designed for deck construction over exterior surfaces including rooftops, courtyards, terraces, pool decks and more in both residential and commercial applications. Bison Decking Tiles are durable and can transform any rooftop into a beautiful outdoor space.
All of our wood tiles are commercial grade, constructed from responsibly harvested hardwoods, and provide a custom appearance.
The Ipê and Cumaru wood tiles are constructed from responsibly harvested South American hardwoods, while the Bamboo tiles are harvested from Chinese hardwoods; both containing a rich variety of graining and coloration, are exceptionally dense, and resistant to insects. Bison Wood Tiles are a natural material and can absorb or lose moisture in different climates. The natural shading, coloration, and graining variations add to the architectural character and overall visual appeal of the finished product.

The Bamboo wood tiles are constructed from dasso.XTR Fused Bamboo® that is manufactured using dasso's patented process, which combines two stages of high heat to carbonize the bamboo, removing all of the starch and sugar, and then restructuring the bamboo, reinforcing its natural strength characteristics. The modified bamboo strands are fused together using phenolic resin – the same resin used to make bowling balls. The result is an extremely dense, durable, exterior-use product composed of 87% natural, fused strand bamboo fibers and 13% resin.
These wood tiles vary in length from 24″ to 48″and offer design flexibility and easy installation to create beautiful outdoor living areas. With their ability to be installed on Bison pedestals, these tiles reduce labor costs and cultivate a custom look at a cost-effective price.
Bison Wood Tiles are made of hardwoods that will weather over time, developing a silvery-gray patina. In order to maintain the original coloring, Bison Wood Tiles can be periodically cleaned and sealed. Use deck products designed for hardwoods.
