RDI Announces New LED Lighting Products

RDI announces the release of its new, wired LED lighting program. This new program includes a variety of lighted posts caps, under rail lighting, side lights, and deck lights, designed for use with RDI’s Endurance® Original Rail, Titan Pro® Rail, Transform®, and Avalon Aluminum Railing® lines.

Each LED lighting product within the RDI lighting line offers an easy “plug-and play” installation, eliminating wire-cutting or splicing, making it the perfect solution for do-it-yourselfers and commercial installers who want to add a quick and easy enhancement that is both functional as well as esthetically pleasing. Each product includes a 50 watt transformer (with solar photo cell), remote control (with timer and dimmer switch), and all required wires and 2-way and 5-way splitters.

According to Mark Brown, Senior Product Manager, “When we develop new products, we always stick to the ‘simple stupid’ installation idea. We understand that lighting is often seen as complicated to many people and we’ve developed a lighting program that is just the opposite”. Brown explains that RDI’s Under Rail Lighting is as simple to install as simply adhering the product with the included permanent adhesive backing. Also, the 50 watt transformer, in most cases, eliminates the need for multiple power sources.

Products within this new line include, from the RDI “Crossover” family of products include, 4” x 4” Contemporary LED Post Cap, Dome Lighting, Stair/Side Lighting, Flush Deck Lighting, and LED Under-Rail Lighting. In addition, for use with RDI’s popular Transform® line, Dome Lighting, Stair/Side Lighting, 5″ x 5″ Pinnacle LED Post Top, and 5″ x 5″ Zenith LED Post Top lighting is offered in all four Transform colors: Satin White, Caramel, Wheat, and Ironstone.
