The wind uplift kit (which is the hurricane 4” or 5" base) can be mounted from the outside without having to jack up the roof. Choose from 2 base kit options: a Standard Base Kit and a Wind Uplift Base Kit. The Wind Uplift Base Kit utilizes a one-of-a-kind Hurricane Piston Lock that prevents wind uplift (up to 2,800 lbs.) and eliminates roof jacking during installation.
